Communities & Young People
We aim to engage and represent people who don’t usually visit museums. We work in partnership with community groups, youth groups, colleges and health centres. We work to raise aspirations, develop skills and open doors to the world of culture.
We can work with you on one-off visits or as part of longer term projects. Get in touch to arrange a visit for a group you work with or to talk to us about an idea.
Sign up to the Bristol Museums Participation Newsletter to receive updates on our work with communities, young people, older people and volunteering.
Community displays at M Shed
We work with communities across the city to show how local people view the area where they live and highlight what’s important to them. This work is shown at M Shed in the Neighbourhoods and You Make Bristol displays.
